Do you shoot both colour and B&W?

I try to deliver a good variation of images in colour (I use a true to life colour edit to maintain the colours used/ featured on the day ) with around 30% - 40% in black and white.

Do you travel?

The majority of my weddings take place in either Bristol or London but I love to travel all over the UK and am open to capturing weddings all over the world (I’ve previously been to Mexico and St Lucia for weddings) Travel expenses are included for up to 2 hours distance from Bristol within my packages for UK venues.

For any locations outside of this area, further travel charges may apply. You will be given a bespoke quotation upon enquiry.

We’re a bit awkward in front of the camera/ we don’t think we’re photogenic - is this a problem?

Your only priority on your day will be to enjoy yourselves. Not to worry about being ‘awkward’ or if you’re ‘photogenic’. Just relax.

If you have any major hang ups that you know you won’t be able to let go of, please don’t be afraid to have that conversation with me ahead of time. I’m talking about things like you don’t want to be photographed from the right hand side or you have some scars you might be conscious of. It’s best to tell me so we can work together to try and find a work around those issues for you. I’d hate for you to end up not liking your photos once they’ve been delivered because we didn’t have the conversation ahead of time. The sooner we talk about these things and make a plan, the less anxious you’ll feel on the day.

Also it’s worth remembering that the majority of my couples photos you see and like photos of ALL felt the same. You don’t have to pose, you don’t have to do formal group photos and you don’t even have to have couples portraits. We’ll work together to create a plan that fits you and your day best. It’s one of the reasons I take the time to get to know you and ask these all important questions. You should never feel forced to ‘perform’ on your wedding day.

Will you require food on the day / What are your dietary requirements?

As a lot of venues are out of the way of accessible food options, I do ask if it’s possible to be supplied with a meal when working full day coverage. Ideally something hot and substantial will be more than enough and is super, super appreciated. You don't have to worry about fitting me into table plans as I’m happy to sit away from you and your guests (this also gives me the opportunity to run over everything we’ve done up until that point in the day) but I’ll never say no to being included on tables - just don’t feel pressured!

Usually your venue/ catering team can recommend some options for me and you’ll find that most catering teams already accommodate for us in their numbers so it’s always best to ask them for advice.

Dietary requirements for me are simple - I don’t eat fish or mayo but if you’re unsure of what to do about meal options and the venue has a bar/ restaurant area, you can always set up a tab for me instead so I can choose my own food.

When/ how do we book in?

You can book in whenever you feel ready! Simply fill in a contact form and then from there, we’ll run over your plans and if you’re liking what you see and hear - we can get you booked in. The more details you can provide up front, the better.

Please do be aware that I work on a first come first served basis. This means the first person to confirm their booking with a booking fee and a signed contract will secure the date. Due to my busy schedule, I am only able to offer video calls during office hours (out of hours calls are offered on a case by case basis) You can found availability and more details via my Calendly diary - https://calendly.com/chloemary
